Shaun Murphy booked his place in the World Championship semi-finals with a 13-11 victory over seven-time winner Stephen Hendry at the Crucible.
Murphy resumed 9-7 ahead and set about extending his advantage, but he was continually pegged back by Hendry.
Hendry twice closed to within one frame of drawing level but Murphy sealed his win with a century break in frame 24.

Epic win sees Higgins into semis

John Higgins set up a semi-final with Mark Allen after overcoming Mark Selby 13-12 in a superb World Championship quarter-final.
Resuming at 4-4 the two took four frames apiece during the first session to remain locked together at 8-8.
In the final session, Higgins was never ahead until the very final frame but his resilience earned him the victory.
Neil Robertson beat world number two Stephen Maguire 13-8 to set up a semi-final match with Shaun Murphy.
"I really don't know how I won that match," said Higgins.

Ryan Day led 3-2 before Mark Allen took control
Ryan Day admitted he was always playing catch-up snooker after losing his quarter-final 13-11 to Mark Allen.
The Welshmen led 3-2 early on but after that Allen took control of the last eight clash.
